Solar Services wins yet another prestigious commercial contract in the face of increasing competition. Despite having an extremely large client bank in the domestic sector, Solar Services are building an enviable reputation in the commercial sector. Smaller firms are usually discouraged by the different pressures brought to bear on these larger contracts, both financial and in terms of man power.

This latest contract will see the roof of the new headquarters building in London for the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development, covered in solar collectors. 40m2 of Stiebel Eltron collectors will be used to provide hot water for staff and visitors.

Once installed, the system will provide hot water without the associated carbon pollution. Running costs will be a fraction of a similar building burning conventional fossil fuels.
